When I baught my leon (a year to the day on sunday) I said I would not fiddle with it, or do anything to it whatsoever having re-built my mini van from the ground up and wanting a sensible, reliable car.

Here I am a year later having spent a shed load on it having taken changed wipers, pedal covers, complete interior, wheels, bulbs, armrest, door cards, HID kit, brakes, cruise control, new steering wheel, modified glovebox (A3 style) and new bumpers on the way.

I wasn't rich before, but I am much further from it now!

Oh well, guess you only live once!

Oh and thanks for all the help and advice up till now. Hopefully I will be able to offer more from now on.......

Well what I did was used the front of my leon dashboard (didnt have to mess about with the lock etc. I chiseled the old dashboard off the back of my fascia. (where the CD changer was). I did the same to the A3 one (it had a blue front and a different key). Then glued the A3 back to my front. It takes up the same space on the fascia, but gives you alot more useable space for 'stuff' in the glovebox. I highly recomend it simply because you have a very useable space now. Although I do wish I took photos of making it.....would make it much easier to explain how to do it!
