Name and shame saul, me and rich did it to his whilst doing TIP and dogmount  :wtf: quick lift of bonnet and i sorted it lol:D

Same thing happened to me when i put the n75 in back to front (oops) so id near put money on it being to blame

Sorry but it IS the right way round, Checked and double checked i eaven took a picture of it before i took it off, iv unpluged the ECU for 10 mins and that didnt clear it, i havent taken the battery off yet ! none off the pipes are kincked they are all done up, i realy dont understand.

Olly get a multimeter, set on OHMS scale, disconect plug to N75 and see if you get a resistance across the 2 pins, if your meter aint auto ranging test on all ohms scales, as i dont know the value of the coil.......... if you get a flashing 1 or infinity it's had it, you should get a resistance, just a thought mate....

that is worth a try and a good help, im not going to be with my car till tomoz afternoon so will try it then,

Iv check the n249 guide and all the pipes and wire are in the proper places.

Anyone near OLLY with vag com?, as the generic readers are pants, that over rev code bothers me, as i am sure that cannot be reset in vag com says somthing like "max rpm exceeded engine warranty void"

Get it vad com'd Olly and we can sort it out on here between us :)

i reset a max rpm exceeded fault a few weeks back, no problem, it threw a light on but didnt hit limp mode.

Vag-com will tell you if the n75 is playing up, i forgot to plug mine in when i fitted a TIP, but the laptop reminded me :)

update, run vag-com and the only fault was the MAF was reading low, i tried a new maf and it made no differance iv tried some one elses n75 and it made no differance all pipes seem good and clear, the only one i cant see is the TIP to turbo conection (running forge one so may have slipped off) would this show up on vag-com? im running out of ideas and getting very pi*sed off with the car at mow.

Once you have cleared the error code, how does it drive?

If after that the ECU flags up fault codes, what are they?

could be a boost leak, pop under and take a look at the forge tip and see :)

or check intercooler hoses, including the one in the passenger wheel arch :)

C'mon Olly tell the nice people what was wrong with the car.......

i hate you beaker, i was going to post i just wanted to get my words right as it will proberbly be my last ever post as im going to sell my car and live on top of a mountain as a hermit.

After trying some one elses ECU with no luck i then looked at the pic on my phone and guess what ???? id put the n75 the wrong way round

BUT in my difence i looked at some one elses and modeled it on that not knowing that other n75's run the pipes differant ways round ( iv got a C and baisted it on an F)

So THANK YOU to every one on here and diggy2, tackelbery and bill.
and sorry for waisting every ones time.

so did you have a C to start with? i have a C and goes better with an F fitted
