some new mods

hi all
i got rid of my golf mk4 mirrors and managed to get hold of a set of teardrops for £60, bargain, luckily i didnt have to remove the dorr panel fully here are some pics
oh and plus a new steering wheel cause my other one was boring and i prefer the looks of this one

What did you do to your steering wheel?
it just looks the same as mine

did your original wing mirrors fold in? as looking at your mirror switch it has the logo for folding.

Do the teardrops not fold then?

Some of the leon did not have fold in morrors tear drop look much beter imo

his original steering wheel was not that one was the older one and his old mirrors folded in but he just wanted to upgrade

my golf 4 mirrors dont fold.. gutted!

i thought me and him had practically the same car.

his ones did mate his mk4 golf folded with electricity but not in as far as tear drop

Most of the people I know with diesels dont have fold in mirrors

its weird cos he had folding mirrors but yet had the old style steering wheel!!

i had the old boring steering wheel and fold in mirrors, might just be pick and mix with the 110tdi as stuart86 has got the newer wheel and his mirrors dont fold in where as mine is round the other way lol.
anyway i got a set of folding mirrors from a silver leon the golf mk4 style for sale

I'm sorry to say it but I've got both! lol

Seat do seem a bit erratic with standard parts dont they

anyway with a little bit of money spent i got the steering wheel and teardrop mirrors now so i am happy
in your own thread on your car stu i thought you said you had electric mirrors??

i do mate.. they are electric adjustment.. they just dont fold.

Brad how hard was it to swap the mirrors over? as ive just had my drivers side mirror smashed off so will need to replace it but im looking at the simplest way to swap them over, did you use a guide or anything? Any help/tips would be great
