EDIT: cupra R @ 18!?!?! whaaatt hahaha if i could afford it i would, i passed my test when i was 16, so when im 18, it should be alot cheaper, and i think my insurance is cheaper over on this little isle anyway

how you get to drive at 16 there ???

im on the isle of man, over here the driving age is 16 as opposed to 17 haha starting my advanced driving in june/july

Hiya matey if I were you I would get some alloys on it the old multispoke cupra alloys can be found cheap then cupra bumper or honeycomb cupra grill like mine makes the front end look so much neater

Can you do the advanced driving test over there?! What does it involve? Mountain road? General night driving etc? I wonder if I could do mine there in the summer

yea i do believe so, me and my dad have been talking to the Institute of Advanced Motoring who im gonna do it with, im pretty sure they do it all over the uk

i wont be able to do the test till im off my 'R' plates though cus im legally restricted to 50 :/

hmm high insurance i bet ?. I'm 31 and its like £450 a year for 1.8t cupra so yours must be least £1000+ ?

mines 1400 on a 1.4 so im sure his is quite a bit more?

I feel for you m8. we all been there I paid like 900 on a 1.1 saxo when i was 23 . It will get cheaper m8 just don't have any accidents . I have full no claims which helps but I did have most asking for £650 + just have to look around too.
