hi i have a decat i want to fit ,and i was wondering does it cause the post cat lambda sensor to "go nuts" as the emmisions readings will increase. i know it can be mapped out but i was hoping to keep the sensor just incase i need to reinstall the cat . before anyone shouts i have searched!!! and didn't find the answer

you keep the sensor even when 'mapped out' as it just makes the car think it's giving the optimum reading. your eml light may be on all the time, it just seems to depend from car to car tbh so it's a case of try it. mines got the post lambda mapped out an always has done so i'm sorry i cant help further
