Me two I set it to zero, if you want a bit of noise (but not to much) open cone filter is much better.

I just physically disconnected mine after searching how to do it on various websites.

I’m pleasantly surprised to hear that a dealer has disconnected Polly’s. I can’t imagine many dealers would be so accommodating.

i set it to 50%, which means I cannot hear it in sport mode ( or comfort which is 0 anyways ) but there is a little bit of grunt in cupra mode.
Now cupra mode sounds like sport and sport sound like comfort :)

at 100% in Cupra it was ridiculous, the cabin was vibrating while idle.

I took my resonator and silencer off and it sounds surprisingly similar under load to the sound aktor.

Had it turned down to 40%but I’ve now turned it down to about 10% and prefer it, it’s still there I think but very subtle and I can now hear the exhaust .

What is it?
An artificial noise generator. Fixed to the bulkhead , it vibrates a speeds to make a supposedly 'sporty' noise. Its about the size of a hockey puck , and can be physically disconnected ( if you have slim hands and a liking for tight spaces with sharp edges or turned down/off with Carista etc if you have sausage fingers and consider a 4lb lump hammer a precision instrument- like me.

Buy using software tools like OBD11 / VCDS or Carista. Then you can code the volume from 100% down to 0%

Mine is set to whatever it is in each driving mode. I don't mind the level in sport, just enough even though it is fake. Question, can it be adjusted volume wise for each driving mode? I wouldn't mind a hint of it in comfort mode to be honest.
