Cupra r APEX lowering kit for a cupra r sat in my garage lads. Already on the shocks so no messing with swapping and changing needed.

George, see you've got some experience with Cupra R's. Got a problem with my friggin traction control light. Randomly came on when sitting in traffic. Now the bleeding thing won't turn off!! It used to turn off if I just re-started the car. Now it's on all the poxy time. Any ideas...? Or anyone have access to VagCom?

I've got Vagcom Lite. I could plug it in for you mate but I'm 99% sure that will be your MAF sensor has let go. Replace it with a New genuine Bosch one, its expensive but it's been tested the cheap versions won't last a week.
It should go once the fault has been rectified mate, if not give me a shout and ill sort it for you.
Anyone who's got vagcom or even vcds-lite able to help me? I'm looking at getting either but I can't afford the full package but I'm only after one what can activate codes and help me reassign/realign the throttle body as I'm going to DIY polish the manifold and throttle body but which would I need to do this? Lite or the full kit costing hundreds? Also if the lite version will work then has anyone a link to a correct USB cable which will work on a notebook?
I'm a compleat numpty when it comes to actual software choosing but hands on is different lol

I think vcds will work mate. I've only seen packages work where you buy cable with software together, seen many failures with cheap Chinese cables, but others may have had luck....? There's a whole thread on vcds n vag-com they'd know better

Brill I've got the tapatalk app on my iphone so I'm still trying to get to grips with how to use it so il have a search now and see what I can stumble across. Do you recon if I was to polish them together without separating them that I shouldn't need to vagcom it? Just a thought
I think any work on tb (cleaning / removing) needs re-aligning. But again, I'd confirm with a few more guys
Even if I was to remove the inlet manifold with tb still connected and sand and buff the surfaces with out removing the tb from the Mani?
I've just purchased a hex cable and software from deal extream which was posted up on a post in the vag diagnostics section so hopefully that should do the trick if needed.
