ive seen peeps fitting 30mm spacers to get the wider look on the back is that rite?

I run 15mm each side, davidol is running 20mm each side. I think anymore and your gunno be looking at arch work.

PMSL i've had a cracked windscreen since i bought the car!

30mm will be a bit risky. I'd say20mm at the most!

That reminds me, i need longer locking bolts!

Mines been cracked since i bought it too but the ****er picked up on it on the last mot, so had to be changed.... he also found a monster crack in the bottom of the screen

No more high speeds runs for me

Ahh, but then thats something that can be changed, where as the Revo Remap, is the same, but the setting chosen may be different.

think he means that at the end of the day the codes the same, and the settings can be altered

its just funny how revo was written with the cars max safety parameters considered and yet if the boost and timing are set to high it'll run like ****

Thats it Carl, the remap is the same, but parameters can be changed, which are decided by the user / dealer via SPS.

Yeah but the settings can make it completely different tho. Take my car, running low boost and timing settings would be completely different to what it is now, or increased settings.


Thats one of the reasons why i dont think its worth ditching REVO with K03s for a 'custom' map. Will acheive pretty close to a 'custom' map.

I understand that the settings can be amended, but the remap in general is a generic map.
ie other than the settings, the same remap will be done, no matter where its done.

Just got off the blower to jabbasport to make some enquieries ,and nick lormor who works there is thinking about selling his mk4 golf gti turbo,currently pushing 250 bhp,has the usual front mount intercooler,exhaust system,dump valve,induction kit,has spent alot,wants about 7k for it am quite tempted anyway heres the pics! does about 6.6 0-60 according to him

forgot to mention it has had a custom remapp,and his golf has a ko3s as standard
