Would i be better off getting an S3 MAF and swapping the element, or should i just stick to the standard ones?

you'd just have more issues with an S3 maf...and you'd still need a good sensor for the housing....

just buy a stock one

Easy mate, honestly, gimme a shout if you want.

But order some new top mounts, and bushes too, and do them at the same time.

I greased mine up loads, but got the knocking now and again too.

Will be regreasing them.

see its weird cos i didnt do ****, they went on just as the old ones came off.

i get the odd knock/crack sound but nothing compared to what i heard from daz or phil's cars

What you used to hear from mine. Doesnt do it now since i put the bearings in. Still get a knock now and again, but rarely.

well just to be on the safe side iv ordered new top mounts from euro car parts for the morning so sound be easy. how low have u gone with 17's? pics of how they sit

how wide are u going? when u say uv bashed the arches wot have u done? removerd the plastic inner arch on the rear?

Lip has been 'rolled' (ghetto style), and im running 215 rears. Which isnt wide in the big picture, but wide enough.

Yea theyve lasted ok, the wear looks alot worse due to the tread patterns tbh. There not much on the inner's
