i was hankering for a ATP turbo eliminator like you wouldnt believe but its £800 for the turbo before any shipping and import tax and then theres the question of weither theres actually enough space in the ibizas engine bay for this turbo, and the fact that no-one has fitted one to a ibiza yet so there could be more complications, i could see this costing around £1800 with the REVO upgrade to stage 3 with no real confirmed power outputs

Thats what got me thinking Dai. Space on the ibiza is at a minimum. No Ibizas over in the states to test on just the dubs.
Your figure won't be far off as you'd want ~300bhp, the manifold would probably be needed. Really need someone to take the plunge and find out.

It will fit dave, it uses all stock fixing position, as in you dont need to modify anything. So i'm guessin it will fit, but like i said, with regards to that and the mapping/revo only time will tell, which is what i have at the moment, i;m up to stage 2 very soon then i'll sort out making the car show like, so then the winter will see me goin big turbo of some sort.

Star are the best people to ask about the price of the turbos as they've imported an sold all of theirs.

And on another note, you see the exhaust manifold? robdon got 19bhp extra with it, only 300 quid as well. Not bad.

yeah but dont forget...the leon is just a golf with different body panels
and as it was designed with the intention of using it on a mk4 it was bound to fit the leon

but theres alot less space in the ibiza

my mates golf engine bay is huge compared to mine, and as daz pointed out...no ibizas in the US,hence why there are alot of sceptics becos there dont seem to be anyone that has tried to fit one on the ibiza??

yeah just checked out his website, mentions hes getting it all fitted april time so im assuming it hasnt been done yet, also mentions on his site hes going for 440cc injectors, not quite sure which ones though as hes selling his bosch green tops which mork assures me are all wrong for the 1.8 20VT, anyone know exactly how much he paid including import fees and postage etc?

yeah i was thinking the golf R32 route, that sound and 4wd is really appealing to me but they are still really strong money for the sort of spec i'd want and i know it'd beg to be turbo'ed and a set of 19" BBS LM's so that'd be another 10k there, can go on and on and i dont earn that much a year!

what sort of money would the spec be on yours based on what i currently have in my profile, i think the biggest problem with companies like yours is people want a fixed price they can look into and then just say yes do it, i appreciate there can e hiddern costs along the way but you guys seem to have vast experience on this so should be covered!

Yours sounds fantastic, i'd admit i'd love to break the 300+ barrier but im not sure my wallet could take the damage and traction must surely be a issue

do you mine if i ask how old you are mike? any chance of that passenger ride sometime?
