Thanks for the welcome, i picked it up from a guy in swansea last night, seems to run quite well fingers crossed!

It will break soon dont worry. lol. But at least you can come on here and let us help you.

Good work tom, i'm thinkin about putt my rear one on this weekend.

not unreliable, but you cant help but rag the **** out of them which leads to some of the weaker components failing. the good news is that the most common items that fail are a piece of piss to replace. its fun counting the weeks of uninterupted motoring!

any of you guys ever attempted the trans-cambrian epic ride? (e.g. MTB across mid wales border to coast)

I dont rag the **** out of mine, but have problems, all the same problem, but driving me nuts. TBH sick of it now.

Next car i think will be a nice diesel. (Or if i move house Escort Cossie.....will i ever learn?)

lol was thinking more about riding it on my bike, its mostly offroad trails, been looking at it on google earth, takes "fit" riders 3 days. 100miles in total, which dont seem like much at first since i've done 30 miles+ in 3 hours or so with little problems.

but with it being offroad i guess its alot more hardwork, some of the ascents dont sound fun

Ride it backwards, they'll be descents then!

yeah but that would involve driving north of aberystwyth, parking the car, doing the ride, then working out how to get back to the car to drive home. obviously i know there is a similar problem the other way round but i am closer to the start than the finish. still think its abit much for me at the moment, was just hoping to get some views from any fellow xc riders.

just finished a 22mile ride now, this new garmin thing i got is pretty funky ****

Got it back peeps. All sweet as ****.

Got two fault codes which were on before it went in, camshaft position sensor which is either stuffed or has a dodgy connection as its a little loose and the EVAP one, which i dont have an EVAP system anyway, so happy days really.

Bump strips are on and look pretty damn good considering i had to pick the colour code for them whilst the car was in the garage.

2 new tyres and MOT tomorrow and i'm back on the road.

Oh yeah, total bill was 917 quid. :D

Woohooo, thats good news Philipo,

Will pop up one night, to see him, and you can show me where old school painting place is.
Darn car still isnt idleing properly, or running properly.

Not as bad a bill as i thought it was goin to be tho. Was expecting 1k plus for the amount of work done.

Fingers crossed for the MOT in 30 mins.

Yippeee!
I;m working 2moz, otherwise i'd give you a hand.

Take piccies!

Can do the front together one day if you wanna, i;m happy to book time off work!
