My TIP has been rubbing on some clip at the back, feels like it might have gone though, wont know for sure until i take the ****er off.
Bicycle repair kit anyone?
Dave, i will have a header tank for you at the rolling road day if you want one, same goes for anyone else. And the dipstick is the Neuspeed one and covers the whole nasty orange ****.

lol yeah i know i want one but affording one will be a different matter, are you selling a few on behalf of your contacts seeing as it sounds like you'll be taking a few to the rolling road day?
Ive ordered a full set of red replacement hoses in red for my FMIC and im tempted to phone peter in the morning and request he puts some suitable hose in there too to plumb in coolant hoses too, is it a difficult job to drain and refill the coolant then as obviously this'll need to be done to fit the bottle, any rough ideas of the cost of the tank
will peter know the sizes i need phil or can u check for me tomorrow?

Rough price i reckon will be about 130 notes. Not cheap, but it looks good. lol.
Good work on the hoses, i need to sell mine, got loads kicking about.
No need to drain the header tank, easy enough to block it off when taking it off and pour it into the new one.
Top hose is 8mm, same as the N75 and i'm not sure on the lower, possibly 15mm.

is any hose suitable for the header tank? only reason i ask is that some hose states not suitable for fuel or oil, now i know coolant is neither of these but not sure if same ingredients might make the hose break down over time?

might come up and see you soon about a fmic project on my mates 95 hyundai s coupe turbo, no intercooler or dumpvalve as standard and as you can imagine gets laggy as hell after 5 minutes, not to mention the pi*s poor throttle responce!

Normall silicone is fine dave for coolant, used straights, superflex and proper ones now, all the same.

Top hose is 8mm, lower is 15mm. I very much doubt you'll get a silcone hose to fit on the lower one coz of the crazy bends it takes. Unless you buy superflex, but thats 20 quid a meter.
yeah its for dans car, how much do you want for the smic or are you just happy for him to have it and get some of the silicon off you?

I'll see what silicones i got, i was gonna chuck it all in the for sale section, but i'll let you know. I dont like asking money off mates, but i'm tryin to buy those willwoods in the for sale section so i need all the money i can get my hands on. lol.
Pic of my engine bay this weekend. Added the small elbow on the end of the inlet mani, the coolant off the right hand side of the rad (hidden behind the flyers) and superflex at the front of the engine for the coolant. Also added some of those cable tidies.
Will look a lot better with the dipstick and the PS cap i got on order and the header. Oh yeah, strut brace is being chrome plated as we speak as well.

confirmed my order for red fmic hoses with russell just now on the phone, hes also kindly thrown in a 80-90mm jubliee clip to secure my green induction kit which has been a "compression fit" 
for the last couple of days
peter was busy unfortunately but im sure i'll be ordering some more hoses off him in the next couple of days!
while im here does anyone know where the link is to the pic that shows a blue mk3 cupra with the centre slat cut out and blended in, im tempted to have it done as my centre slat is sagging slightly from where i had to trim it so much to get the fmic behind it

Its not that important really, was gonna get my oil breater on the TIP blanked off and out the outlet on the catch tank on a breather filter.
Need a 22-25mm metal connector and a 22/22mm connector tho.
