Jonzy, will that porting help the flow at all??

Phil, i wanna give the coilies a few good coats of protection, while im waiting to fit them.

Waxed the bonnet and the roof on sunday morning, but the wind kept kicking up dust. So give up on the rest.

Daz, i think i know what the clunking might be.

Overtightened stut nut.

Also did you have a platsic washer with the suspension, i got a feeling that goes between the nut and the top mount to stop it from sticking.

I got a new turbo :D its all good.

One thing I do have to say is..... westec what a ****ing joke of a company. Will explain all when I get my breath back, total *****.

Took my downpipe off yesterday, every nut was loose, no gasket between the turbo and downpipe and the first lambda sensor has been cross threaded into the boss.

Couple this with the total and utter cockup that westec made of actually putting the exhaust on, damaging it and one of the hangers, trying to repair it and then having the cheek to try and charge me for it.

Just wondering what the **** I actaully paid them todo, apart from totally **** a 700 quid exhuast system.

Needless to say, ive done the job myself and its all good, unlike the total botch that the cowboy outfit westec did.... and from what ive heard recently the standard of work is pretty piss poor anyway. Keys in the exhaust pipe anyone?

Def one to be avoided!

I think he means new thread for Jonzy's rant! Thats part of the reason as to why i'd like to do the work myself, the other for a sense of goodness. I've got a mate who will do it, and do a very good job!

I think we all know the story behind the keys in the exhaust! That really is quite shocking!

same as u phil im wondering about cambelt and water pump change soon as im approaching 60k and will prob hit it by the end of the year or early next year

when the time comes I'm considering the same garage that done my clutch and downpipe as they were decent fellas, booked me in quick, done the work for a very fair price and they are only 5mins drive up the road as opposed to westec being 25mins away. that said Thompson & Thompson dealership is only a 5 minute walk away from my house but other than their parts dept, they are fairly useless and a ripoff.
