Ello peeps! thought id say hi ,from newport myself! did see a red cupra with oz superleggras by royal oak petrol station last night think he might of been a member from here,sweet looking motor! anyway im looking into buying a cupra next few weeks hopefully,have seen some standard 1s for about 5k with between 40-65k on the clock so not too bad ! i wanna hopefully get it pushing about 250bhp and some nice torque figures,spoke to grant at westec yesterday good info must say! think if i did buy the cupra id want it 1stly mapped!2ndly front mount cooler! 3rdly,decent closed filter!4thly,turbo back system!5th,forge rs dv,6th,depending on price upgraded turbo if not leave the standard 1 on if i achieve my target! then pop down gwent vw talk so Shaq or Saj on some fk coilovers and some nice 16inch keskins or rondells! so with the performance modds listed as in the engine not the suspension lol could i get about 250bhp?? many thanx peeps

never gonna hit 250bhp on stock turbo, 220ish -230 maybe Phil got 226bhp on westecs rollers last month

so how much we looking for the next stage turbo the m8? i did look on ebay last night but couldnt find anything so really supply and fit turbo! would this be on a exchange basis? should i be worried if i buy a cupra with 60kish miles on it? or the engines fairly decent? cheers

Keep it serviced and itll last, wouldnt bother with guesstec though.

daz has a k03s upgraded turbo, cost like 500quid fitted basically

just do everything u mentioned and see how it fairs, might write it off after a remap!

KO3s is prob the way to get close to 250bhp with a 'Custom map'.

dunno mate last time i got mine dyno'd it got to 164bhp and the throttle body hose blew

havent had it tested since but its probably between 210 and 220


revo stage 1, forge turbo intake pipe, forge dv, green dynatwist filter, milltek turbo back exhaust, and im picking up my forge front mount on friday

my current car pmsl,havent got a car lol,just sold my house with me mam ,mortgage was costing me a bomb but my last car was 206 gti 180 until i wrote it off oooppps,basically me mam is be very kind and sharing couple of k with me , i did had a cupra 3 years back in silver had the wooosh dumpvalve etc couldnt understand why standard vts saxos were blowing cupra thou,must of the dump valve messing he ecu up etc etc,but yeah hopefully week or 2 il be on the hunt for a tidy cupra with about 40-60k on the clock and get all the bitts listed done in a week so i can have a play! do all the ladds from newport and cardiff area have meets then??

Yo dAZ did u goto hartridge or st.joes comp m8? as i saw a lad while back driving car like yours and could of swore i recoginsed the person
