Just fitted one of the door lock mechanisms/solenoid. Though found that the old one in the passenger door wasn't working full stop because one of the pins in the female connector was pushed right back so wasnt making a connection.
Car locks now at least!
Drivers side to do tomorrow, If I can be arsed.

xbox live is brilliant, never had anything like that on a console before

just got home after a worrying burn home!?!

my drivers side wiper has gone limp? i heard i nasty pop earlier and it just stopped wiping? got out and adjusted it as it had got stuck with the passenger side (which is still working )and i can move the drivers side wiper freely.

havent had a look as yet as its pissing down and dark and cold but im guessing the connecting rod has popped off or snapped or a bolt has sheared or something like that

14months? could do with replacing the blades now though

its nothin wrong with the lupo wipers its the shite under the scuttle panel thats ****ed

job done, connecting rod had just popped off the wiper arm, no big deal

You still think its worth doing carl? I'm on my 4th set of wiper blades now and these are utter ****.

Finally got a day when its fine. Gonna look at passenger window, move maf and get under the car to see whats goin on with the oil leak.

in my opinion they aint fantastic, and if i wanted 100% efficiency i should have swapped the wiper blades around 6months ago, but for 14months old they aint that bad, not exactly jumping everywhere or anything really shocking.

as for as looks go i think they look well smart

put it this way i would have rather spent 90quid on them than 150quid on the dynatwist

Just relocated the MAF, hopefully that will sort the stalling issues.

Took the door card off and it started to rain, again. Does anyone know the part numbers for the door grab handles?


Dave, any chance you can look at my speaker wiring, i'm not convinced its 100% right. I've got MTX Thunder comps and the signal into the crossover was spliced from the wire to the original tweeter. I was told the signal to the crossover was a full range of sound and the tweeter itself has some sort of crossover built into it to produce the treble.

yeah i can have a look no problem phil, from memory the tweets have a high pass filter installed on the chassis of them just behind the wire passes into the tweeter, shouldnt be a problem as it sounds but i'll have a squint anyways
