Yeah, agree with that, pretty much the only reason why i'd go for a k03s is coz my turbo was ****ed. No point in putting something back on the car you've killed already.


Still think GTRS is the one to go for tho with revo stage 3 if i had the money.

Star is 1299 iirc for the kit.

Same here, had numerous thoughts about going BT. GTRS would also be my choice but I would still rather be driving around in an all round better car. Plus the fittiment factors when looking to fit to an Ibiza. Seems its one problem after another which will cost more £.
Phil, I think it cost around £400 to fit it.
It was steep and took them close to 2 days to do it.

But as said, worth doing if you have to replace the KO3.

Project mint starts next week
Going to get cambelt and waterpump done along with the 60k service and 2 front tyres. MOT in Feb.
Have already sorted the central locking.
Still need to get/fit a ambient temp sensor and boot lock and sort knocking exhaust (started playing up, been fine for months) and then a good clean inside and out and she'll be sorted.
On another note, really liking some of the Euro looks out there at the moment. Loving the look of CupraT's old ovni Ibiza..

oh yeah by the way, found a remapper in south wales for all pd130 and 1.8T maps for 100 quid + vat get in, was dubious at first but ive hooked my mate up with the info whilst i was abroad and he went and had it done, they knocked the vat off both jobs (his old mans pd130 passat and his 20vt golf)and did um both for £200 all in.

just had a quick drive, the remap has highlighted a shitty coilpack as its got a harsh misfire but still quick and sooo smooth, mate also said tuner knew his stuff, gutted i spent so much on revo now tbh

Steve from Alloy Polishing Services in swansea. Quality bloke and quality work as well, said if i find a better polished mani i have to take a photo of it.

Gonna pick it up on the weekend.


Not too sure about the gauge on the steering wheel, might buy another gauge and put them in a Cupra R console.
