Just had a play about with a CRX on the dual carridgeway, i was the quicker car but in all honesty i wasnt pulling away that much. might be because i didnt max out 2nd gear and changed at 4k revs instead.
Not sure if i have a TIP on the car would that increase BHP by much ?
Its alright, gotta drop the oil this weekend and get to the bottom of my camshaft error and fit new rear discs. And thats it til i get my box and diff.
Man im a bit worried, i ran over some metal object in the road tonight, and it made 2 loud bangs. At first i thought it was my engine blowing up. i then decided to turn around and inspect and it was a some rusty old bit of metal quite heavy too, i just hope it hasnt damaged the car
Resetting the cam chain tensioner. It was out one tooth.
I still have a code for camshaft position sensor/engine sensor incorrect correlation error but i think thats from a dodgy sensor. Still need to check it.
Car runs AWESOME tho, inlet cam was retarded one tooth and make it run a bit shitty low down. Goes so much better now.
Tom, i might be selling my SPS if your interested. I cant see me using it until i go BT, and i'm running HB9 T9 now so i'd only tweak the timing with Lemmiwinks.
