Hi all, ive got a BF system to fit with sports cat. One concern I have is not fitting an o2spacer and suffering the consequences later. But i'm looking for a cheaper fix than the £30 42Draft spacer. Has anybody successfully used the spark plug non fouler option? Ive got the Cupra 180. Or even, has anybody just not used one at all, and had no probs. Any feedback much appreciated.

sorry to bring bak up to the top guys and gals. Has nobody got any experience with the cat sensor situation on a sport cat? Do they need the spacer? Ive done the searches but most are about de-cats situations. Looking for a cheaper fix than the draft spacer if poss.

i bet i end up buying it! To be on the safe side! Hard to get too once the exhaust is on! Thanks guys

Would you figure! Decided to order the Draft, and the blighters didn't have any in stock! And their re-stock is overdue by weeks so no definite time until one comes in. Might need to go down the non fouler route in the end. Just need a 1/2" steel drill bit now!!

When i was talking to the guy thats doing my custom turbo back exhaust he said he has had it happen sometime and the 02 sensor needs to be out of the hence why you dont just go for the small spacer and instead you get the L shapped spacer. Will update once i get the exhaust installed but wont be for another 2 weeks.

Tell me about it! Its the space restriction concern that made me go for ordering the Draft. Imagine my dissapointment when there were none to buy! Ive hounded google tonight, and i've found 3 angled spacers, one being the Draft, the BFI and then the Wayne. And can i find a supplier other than from America! Can i eckers like!! In fact that might be worth another thread.........
