Right well - big thanks to AlphaMale here - received the plugs on friday as described, and all fitted this morning!

I can almost put hand on heart and say that SEAT didnt change plugs @ 40k - my garage had a look and the plugs looked quite bad (ie more like 50k miles than the 11k since my 40k service) and the coilpacks/plugs were in very tightly, looking like they had never been removed.

I can also say that car now runs better too - not had any lumpy idle syndome (yet) but touch wood this has cured/helped to cure my problems!

when changing your plugs does it make a difference if the coils go back on in a different order as i thought they was all the same if so what can it do if there wrong
 
Added extra info :

The correct spark plug gap = 0.8 mm

( and it has been noted the LC(R) is very sensitive to the correct gap width )
