special tools

hi all,

new to this forum. here`s my problem... I`v got a 2003 lcr and think the valve stem seals are on their way out and was wondering if their was a special tool for doing them in place. if so does any one know the part no and where i can get one.

I think there is a standard tool for removing them. they are just like any other valve stem seal

what I`m looking for is something which will let me do them without removing the cilinder head, but thanks any way.

This is not possible to do without removing the head, as you need to hold down the valves to take the springs off to get to the seals them selfs

is yours smoking much ?
