Specialists in/near Nottingham for an FR suspension upgrade

I'm looking to get some quotes for softening/upgrading the suspension on my FR TFSI.

I think Koni FSDs and Eiback Pro Kit springs are what I'm after.

I have emailed C&R in Lenton requesting a quote. Has anyone used them and is it true that they're quite expensive? If so, are they still good value for their skill etc?

Anywhere else in/near Nottingham worth asking for a quote?

you could try someone like northampton motorsport who would be a quick trip up the M1 or Jabba Sport are the other side of Peterborough, APS are near to milton keynes and the TT shop in bedford although i guess it depends on how far you want to travel,

Thanks for the suggestions. Jabba would be a sensible option from home - they're only about 30 miles away - but that would need to be a Saturday (Nottingham is the only option if I stand a hope of organising childcare/work around the upgrade...).

I might give them a ring tomorrow.

Jabba quoted me around £750 to supply and fit Koni FSD's and Eibachs including seting up. That was on an A3 which will be the same, oh and VAT was at 17.5%. Jabba do work saturdays but i think its only the morning. You can either sit in there waiting room or wander acroos the road to the garden centre and get a breakfast ! If your only 30 miles away you must be close to me, i'm stamford.

I bought my Eibachs from Roadrunner who are in Northampton - helpful and competetive supplier -in my case delivered to me and fitted locally.

always take my car to hac to get serviced, they maybe able to help you out and get the parts in, and fit. There just near colwick, and will drop you in at work when your car is in.

Damn... I wrote a long-winded reply just now and somehow lost it into the void before I could submit. Anyway, I got a similar quote to SteveTDCi from Jabba Sport for supply, fit and setup of Koni FSDs and Eibach Pros. Seems roughly in line with the other places I've checked and cheaper than some. (C&R still haven't got back to me, so they're out of the running.)

Thanks for all the suggestions of places to take it. I've provisionally booked my car in with Jabba for later this month - just need to confirm that I can get the day off work. Yes, they do Saturday mornings but the chap I spoke to said they might struggle to fit in all the checks etc on a Saturday. I'd prefer them to have plenty of time to do it right, so a weekday it is.

I will of course report back on the (hopefully) improved ride once it's been done!

had several bits of servicing done on my Skoda at DSB autocare in Bulwick, search on google for their details. Been very impressed with their service and they're good on price as well.
