Hi has Any one ever had the speedo and rev counter out of sync with real speed and revs? At 3k on cluster vcds is at 2k at 5k vcds is at 3k etc etc will rev off the clock as so far out of sync
Is there any known fault with seat clusters?
Thanks

Hello there.

Are you sure the needles on the counters are well inserted? May be a gap. At idle what's the rpm shown?

Yes needles are inserted correctly and when doing out put test they function in correct way but when vehicle is running there not close to correct values and get worse in the higher speed/rpm of vehicle

Removed the cluster at week end and checked plugs and wires etc, am gonna order another cluster and see how it goes

The engine speed sensor would effect the revs but not the speedo aswell as both read of 2 different components
