Changed them back to how it should be now. Still got to replace the hose with a hole in it. But now the car seems to be smoking quite a lot. Doing my head in now.
 
Went to seat main dealers they want either £38 or £48 plus vat for the pipe so went to amd and they want £48 plus vat for a silicone one. So gonna order it from amd but skint at the mo so it's gonna be parked up until I can do that and the 249 bypass. Amd also recommended that I put the standard air box back on with a panel filter cause of the heat soak. So got to try and get one of them as well as I didn't get the standard air box when I bought the car.
 
I'd advise scrapping the dump valve for a recirculating diverter valve. With a descent filter the sounds are pretty close.
 
Yeah and a bit big to post... I wouldn't think heat soak makes too much of a difference, if you go back to stock airbox you will only benefit with a performance filter and smoothing it out (which I've heard is a bitch of a job), maybe think about saving the money on a decent cold air feed to counteract the heat soak?
