yeah phones are ****, i just had muliple goes but none came out, the phones mic just doesn't pic it up, especially with the window down it just gets wind noise

The noise is too high pitch for our phones......i like your cai acid, i take it from what you've said, it sounds completely different to an open cone setup?
it is pretty different...sucking noise is quite louder and there is a fairly loud whoosh when the gas is let off

sweet........sounds different,almost sounds like a longer woooosh probably cuz of the echo but i reckon a split-r would sound good through that!! you could try mine but your a fair way away from me........

As for recordings, Open your passenger window, and secure your phones to the passenger side dashboard, therefore less windnoise.
If the phone clip doesn't do justice fair enough, would be interested to hear from btoh outside car and inside tho...Still prefer mine tbh

I have to say yours sounds plenty loud enough Mike, probably similar to Acid's althugh I had that CAI setup in my Civic and damp down in the bumper was always an issue. I know they sell them on e-bay for the Leons for cheap but didn't brave it to see if one could be made to fit the Ibiza.
I have got a 007 and a cai. I will try and get a recording with my digital camcorder. I think the sound that mine makes is just as good as a bov.... It makes people jump at the side of the road.....
