agreed. But if you want a good sound get a 3 inch de-catted zorst with an IHI turbo , foook me its loud. ( i know its a bit off topic )
 
sound is boost related, but mine still wasnt v loud with a big turbo ( 1.4 bar )
 
i heard a rumour that if i set up a boost gauge it also messes with the D/V sound and causes it to work incorrectly. Any idea if this is correct?
 
some people had put the t piece into the little pipe at the top of the dv and seems ok but in my opinion the split r kills performance due to increasing the lag....alot . Do me a favor and take your car out for a thrash tomorrow and then put it back to full recirc ( just put the blanking plug on the trumpet bit it will take 1 minute) and your car will be ALOT smoother/faster between gears i promise.
 
just take your boost gauge feed from elsewhere.
there are two options, fpr hose or the vac return on top of the throttle body
