why would you want to map the eml light out any way its a safe thing would you say that if you engine went not saying it will but surly its better safe than sorry:shrug: just get a wayne block or oxygen senser adapter to sort it:)

They don't delete it they just change the values to allow for the extra flow..it would still bring up a code if it failed.

wayne block or oxygen senser adapter this is a good think till you can go stage 2 and cheaper and save the light cuming on:)

Thats what I done for the few months before I had it mapped out, might put it back in tho as the block makes the lambda sit at a better angle so it doesn't touch the heatshield like it does now

Thanks for that info, something i'd not consider otherwise. How did you figure that it was the MAF meter at fault? They are completely unlinked aren't they .

Touch wood it isn't 'error 666: car dying, you're funked' tomorrow :D

Its all part of the fueling system i think. Im guessing the maf tells the ecu what to expect and if those values dont meet at the lamda end it throws a wobbly.

Ran my sports cat for 4 years at 2 stages of tune and never had an emissions issue/ sailed through each mot.
