Squeaking behind bulkhead - Engine mount ?

Hi

Occasionally when coming on or off the accelerator i hear a squeak behind the bulkhead. I am 99% sure it is the rear engine mount, but after having a quick look (it was dark and i only had a little touch) i couldn't see it.

Does anyone know where exactly the rear mount is situated and where you can see it from ? ie underneath the car ???

Also, how much is the rear engine mount ?

enigne mount goes near where the garbox and engine joint then bridges across to the bottom of the bulkhead

does it make much diffrence changing engine mounts for upgraded 1's??? would it just get rid of any movement lost thro standard mounts

i find my engine move one hell of alot when the wheels spin and i can hear the exhaust hit the bulkhead as it moves that much an uprated bottom engine mount will stop it rocking as much

would of thought it would take up drive a fraction quicker too! as there would be no play!

it stops the wheels hopping when spining so you will get more grip but no aftermarket ones specific for the mk4 there is an lcr one that is really good but nothing like that for the mk4 shame really
