Stage 1 LCR vs. Stage 2 Ibiza

Just wondering who you reckon would win?

LCR with carbonio, forge FMIC and revo stage 1 or mine with stage 2 and all the trimmings and some mild strippage?

I would say yours phil, i'd be surprised if there was much difference in bhp bewteen the two and the ibiza being lighter, i know where I'd put my money.....

Sorry to leaon cupra r fan boys but the ibiza gets my vote

Interesting, how heavy are they tho?

Remapped ones get about 260ish dont they and about 270lbs

Mine should be about 235-240 and 280+lbs i reckon maybe more, i dont know yet but it has to be lighter etc...

Ibiza or not much in it if anything, tried it myself before, LCR had FMIC too maybe other small mods ontop of what you've listed

I was a little surprised, tbh, but from memory the LCR had the legs "higher up".

id imagine up to 100 the ibiza would have slight edge, after that the LCR would overtake i reckon

all just from guessing though ...... no facts - never raced a LCR, only a LC

Ive only raced a LCR once @ santapod when my car was standard and a dodgy MAF, Leon won by 2 & bit seconds

Not sure dave, Id only had the car about 3 weeks and got a 'respectable' 17seconds Like I say, Maf was dead and the car standard

yours would win phil , i raced stevegti6 and i was in my old leon cupra r and he was in his and his wasnt that far away from me and i had full blueflame , forge fmic , and loads of other bits , cc stage 1 as well , but bill tweaked it , steve was running k03 as well i think , so a k03s should leave it

When i was last at Crail with the GT2X setup (285 BHP ) i raced a Leon cupra R with stage 2 revo on it and, i thrased it by a fair bit.

agreed Ibiza would win.

my stage 1 ibiza was quicker than a standard LCR, so throw an extra 40bhp in both and I'd have thought the ibiza would go ahead...

Well a well driven Stage 1 LCR will is capable of a 14 flat at around 99-100mph mark. So for a1/4 mile race, compare it with that..
A Stage 2 Ibiza with KO3 would get beat by a Stage 1 LCR, without to much trouble. But a Ibiza with KO3s would turn things a bit IMO.. I would agree with matey. I think 0-100, the Ibiza will nip it. After that I think the LCR will crawl past..
But in a nutshell, the Ibiza should be slightly quicker just down to Power/weight really...

I had a play with my mates LCR he just has a p - torque map on a standard car, i kept with him until top end and that was running k03 with all the trimmings, now running k03s and if running right id say id pull infront quite easy.
