Just wanted to know what remap do you have and how many mbar/Bar/psi does the car peak at. (with logs if you have) ko3 only owners with some stage one mods Just want to compare as mines only boost around 1860mbar (requested) and drops down. On my leon (early model- k03 - engine app) it boost at 2120mbar mid range.

If your talking boost pressure no idea what it is in mbar but according to my boost gauge it peaks at 1.40 bar which is about 20psi mods in my sig and on an AMD map...

and peak power is at just over 4.5k

Im waiting till my next days off as i want to play with the actuator a bit and try and get it peaking at 1.50 bar

no havent got any logs yet ive got the free shareware version of vag-com so im not sure if i can run logs...if somone no if i can and what blocks to run i could have a go for you...be interesting to find out myself aswell.

mine peaks at 1.5 bar then tails of to hold a bar after 5k, depends on day to day though on a hot day mabey a little less than a 1.5 bar, this is with revo stage 1 forge fmic and a few other bits

hmmm,

why does everyone else peak so high?

Mine usually peaks about 18psi maybe 19psi (1.25 bar) then tails off to 13-14psi (appox 1 bar)

Thats on a JabbaSport Stage 1 Map

Mines requested boost feels quite low (ignore the actual boost for now) on amd map.

Custom Code stage 1....

used to boost to 24-26psi.... but since about march only got about 20-21psi.....

My stage 1 jabba peak at 19 psi but then drops really low to about 9 psi thats with fmic, bf cat back exhaust and jabbasport induction kit.

Mine is supposibly remapped to 190 by someone but only boosts to 10psi... So I don't believe it at all!!

It's ok though stage 2 coming my way :)

Ideal mapping for a stage1 remap running the oem downpipe would be a peak of 18-19psi then aim for 14-15psi as long as the ko3 can higher up thre rpm range, then the low VE of the ko3 will cause the boost the tail of to around 10psi -8psi closer to the redline.

18psi peak and 14psi held with AFR of 12.5 will be good for 190+bhp 220lbft all day long, Trying to aim for higher boost when running to oem down pipe will cause heat build up and a AFR of 11.5 -11would been to help get the egts down but at a compromise to the power output.

Going to stage2 you will need to get the gasses flowing better, ie 3" down pipe, de-cat or sports cat. This will allow you to peak the boost at 22-23psi and aim for 16-17 psi help while still maintaining a AFR of 12.5 without getting the EGTs too high, The peak bhp from a stage2 remap will only be a few more peak bhp over a stage 1 due the the VE tail off being them same higher rpm, so 200bhp is about the MAX from a ko3. A stage 2 remap should return 240-250lbft and around 13bhp on the average bhp not the peak bhp.

Same with ko3s mapping aim for the load request to produce 18psi peak and 14psi held and it return 210bhp due to the better VE higher up the rpm range from the KOs
