standard dump valve dumping

Ive had a hyperboost DV fitted (recirc) but my cars not running all too well, so i tried putting the standard dv on..

too my amazement the standard DV is dumping, just as loud if not louder than the recirc dump valve


sureley this is not right?

Try doing the pen test, so you can tell if the piston is holding.

what is the car doing when you say its not running well?

seems to be hitting flat sports every now and again, boosting then stopping..

its on a stage 1

so with the standard the car runs ok, with the hyperboost it doesnt?

is so then its clear the hyberboost is the issue.
is this correctly rated for the car? was it fitted correctly? ( i have to ask)

Fitted exactly the same way as the hyperboost, nah the car runs the same with it on or off...

Im just confused how its dumping as standard.. equally as loud too :O
