Standard head unit code

Hi,

Recently got a Leon Cupra and I am planning to swap the head unit. Trouble is, I do not have the code for the original which I am taking out. Not a problem - until I want to put it back in if I need to. Is there any way of finding out this info. I have looked through all the paperwork that came with the car ( private sale) but the code is not present.

Should be a little sticker in your audio manual............

If you can;t find it you need the serial number on the back of your stereo & a trip to the dealers !!!

Check the top of your headunit... It may well be wrote on it or on the side of it...?

Code was wrote on the top of mine and can only think it was the dealer that done it.
