Steering wheel light flashing

Hello, when starting up I have no steering wheel light. Continue on 10 minutes it may start flashing and go off again for a minute or so. This is very on and off and never constant. When took to mechanic for inspection, he said car was perfect. Have tried all the procedures to clear steering angle sensor etc. Any ideas?

A bad battery can cause these kind of issues.

Is the power steering heavy or feel different when you first start the car?

it’s hard to say what the problem may be without plugging it in and checking for errors I suggest you get the car plugged into VCDS and check for fault codes
