Right , my stereo gets louder the faster i drive , i'm well aware that its supposed to do this but i'd prefer it if it didn't , anyone know if it can be turned off ? Checked the manuel , nothing ?

I don't think it can be turned off, but you could disable it if you really want to. What you need to do is take the HU out and remove the speed input pin from the ISO block in the car and tape it up. The HU won't see speed pulses and so leave your volume alone.

TBH i haven't noticed it on mine. In my old car i had a pioneer HU with this function and it was very noticable!!!!

You learn something new everyday. My volume increases as the speed does, but some of the other features are useful too!

But shhh, don't tell anyone I was reading the manual! :-o

mine does it as well but i thought it would be EAS (enviromental adaptive sound) summit like that, the louder i can hear the road and engine the louder the volume gets, also when u slow down it goes back to how it was.

mine does it too and my car was one of the first cupra`s of the production line i`d say those that dont do it have already been tampered with
