How the hell do u get the standard steroe out of an ibiza Mk4? Im Stummpted!

You need to use some removal "keys" which poke into the slots underneath the head unit.

Cut up an old credit card into two strips that fit into the hoes, then push them in and then away from each other and pull! Jobs a good un!

No...... did this and the card snapped inside the hole... basically block up the hole. In the end bought the radio keys for a full £2 and rammed the s*** out of blocked holes to try and dislodge it.

Cool, ok what adapters etc do i need to fit an alpine HU?

None, just make sure its wired like this.... red to yellow not red to red or the HU looses it memory every time you switch off.

How do cable ties work? Just tried this as I need serial no. to get radio code but cant figure out how to do it. I push them in but nothing happens, can hear a click in the left hand one sometimes but thats it.

This is my HU

didn't require an adapter what so ever. My antenna is a JASO plug end

Argh..I need the radio code for my car so I can do an ECU reset. Phoned Seat and they said they can't do it over phone anymore and car has to be booked in to the workshop to do it!
