strange whining from rear of car

hi sorry this is a bit of topic but i have a 2000 polo (work car) and theres a whining noise coming from the back when i'm driving so i think one of the bearings is on the way out .......does anyone know if i need to replace just the bearings or the hub as well..

Just the bearing should be all!

Could be a bearing, but worth checking inner/outer edges sof tyres for uneven wear creating a rumble/whine while driving, that was my problem!
