I would be tempted to stuff the car, Im with you why cant things go simple, not one turbo but 2.

I would of thought td would have been extra carefull with the build of your 2nd turbo.

I sent my original turbo off too them and they would not hybrid it due to sticky viens and recommended a brandnew unit hybrid. And for the price difference I should of planned this in the first place.

Its simple but you are priming your turbo, and changing the oil as recommended, it is essential that a new turbo has new oil.

I would give td ago but would insist in a brand new hybrid unit, because once they have got there hands on your turbo its an uphill struggle.

I hope you get it sorted soon.

well the car has started to behave itsself now and seems that all the problems are gone except in second gear the turbo does play up yet everyother gear the car is fine with no problems at all..

Maybe you have cleared the vains by booting it for testing?

ok after some more vigarous testing tonight i have foun that after the car has been booted for a bit and performing perfectly in every gear once left to cool down before turning the car off if i go for a hard run it does not perform at all and the power is not there in any gear until the car has been riven for around 5mins steady!! strange i know but these things are sent here to test us

thing is when she goes she flies an the map aint reallly that great at the moment ue to the turbo!!!
the boost still rops off at 4k before going up again but thats nothing to do with will that was cos i had a bad maf when i went up there!!
oh well i am sure it will be ok in the end turbo might still have to come off yet ;(

This is very strange mate! ive gradually started to notice this on my hybrid 130

its been hybrid for a few months and goes like a bat out of hell! except the past wee while, when going through 2nd and 3rd gear to 4800 rpm it some what holds full boost off till 4000 then vtech kicks in and hell breaks loose! normally it fully kicks in power at 3000 but over the space of 3 months its started to slacken abit! again mines a stage 2 130 hybrid turbo 1749va.

Im suspecting a sticking actuator

Why are there so many issues hybrid tdi owners? Bad mapping? I'd just stop at the usual exhaust,fmic, filter and remap then go mental on the suspension/brakes.

bit of an update

got my new windscreen fitted today as my mot is due next week also got a new head unit as i was bored of my old one

the sound quality is very good indeed makes a massive ifference ovr my old unit!
also while i was bored i cleaned the interior so it is spotless all the windows, plastics roof lining everything i could think of...

also i will be going back to black wheels now as there is a blue corsa around my way and a blue seat ibiza who have orange wheels... i set the trend now i am moving back to simple lol

she is behaving a lot better than before 9 out of 10 times she performs very well but there is the odd occasion she plays up!!

i am going to leave it a bit longer then go back up to will to make some final checks and diagnostics before i resort to taking the turbo off as TD are a pain to deal with and who knows how long it will take to sort out this time

had a clay bar session with the beast today..
first i washed her then clayed her which took ages, after this i chamois the car to dry it ready for polishing then after this i used maguires carnuba wax to seal the car and i am inpressed with the results..
i keep saying it but i WILL get jonjay to detail it in august!!!!!

sneak peak at my wheels although as mentioned before these will be going black soon!!

a few shots of the reflections the paint is giving off, not bad for clay bar and a polish

also got some auto glym metal polish on the zorst tip made it come up good s new

Glad she is working 9/10. The heat doesnt help, i get massive lag in 2nd when flooring it, kicks in at 3500rpm sometimes.

i must admit i have noticed heat soak not when driving but when driving then stopping for half hour then driving it takes 10mins for intake temps to drop before she really pulls!!
i really wante to come aMd tomorrow but i am working which sucks could have taken you for a spin!!
