I would be tempted to stuff the car, Im with you why cant things go simple, not one turbo but 2.
I would of thought td would have been extra carefull with the build of your 2nd turbo.
I sent my original turbo off too them and they would not hybrid it due to sticky viens and recommended a brandnew unit hybrid. And for the price difference I should of planned this in the first place.
Its simple but you are priming your turbo, and changing the oil as recommended, it is essential that a new turbo has new oil.
I would give td ago but would insist in a brand new hybrid unit, because once they have got there hands on your turbo its an uphill struggle.
