ok i had a constructive morning today and after going to dk house and realising how nice his car actuaslly is(although being a petrol which aint cool) i decided to change a few bits on my car today so its starting to come together...ready for the amd rr day

ok had another cleaning session ready for prept this evening and what started as i crap day turned out to be lovely...anyway i had some fun with my snow foam gun and the results with the autobrite supa snow foam are amazing, i find very good cleaning factors without losing any wax protection

also got my strut brace back from drue1 off the forum and i must say if anyone wants any powder coating done in the kent area get him to do it hes done a very good job and i am happy with the results

oh also i have recieved my 1.8t oancake pipe anbd i will be fitting it like brad1 has to stop my poo allard lower ic pipes slipping off all the time, i have also ordered some sfs hoses to ensure a good fit and not a bodge

That's a bit crap that the allards pipes are popping off and you have to revert to OEM pipes! :blink:

Have you got "proper" clamps on them and not just jubilee clips? I havent invested yet, but all the joins that can be double jubilee clipped, have been!

its just the allard kit does not fit correctly so everything is kinda just fixed on not corre tly fitted but the 1.8t pancake pipe aint restrictive and i know it will fit ok
 
ok on the way to prept tonight i found something weird out as you all know at 4k my power dies off when changing up through the gears BUT if i put my foot to the floor at 2-3k and let the revs go up the power will not rop off but if i rev up through the gears it dies off :wtf:
but its going to amd tomorrow to be sorted out i hope regardless of cost cos its pis***g me right off

well amd have the car now and i am not having it back until its correct, and if its a turbo issue TD WILL be hearing from me as this would be the 3rd time the turbo has been rebuilt
 
yes mate the allard kit seems to do the job:)
also gained 17bhp and 30lb ft torque when i added it to the car so all seems well... why do you ask??having problems?
 
look what arrived today:) and i dont need to cut it down for my s3 strut brace its a straight fit
