how well does it work?

Never thrown the car around that much to notice, however a friend took his ST170,MK5 Golf GTI & mine onto a track last weekend & commented on how well mine felt. The road holding was on par with the other two cars, which is a testament to the front & rear braces, rear spacers & the F1 tyres(still on standard suspension)whilst the other cars were still on standard rubber. No doubt that in combination the braces have helped the handling & the tyres have helped the road holding.Viewing from outside he did manage to lift the inside rear tyre on more than one occasion!

Pete

where did you get the parts from mate going to make my own the same way you have:D

Heavy duty exhaust hanger's and a piece of electrical conduit.Just welded the hanger's to either end of the conduit. It was trial & error getting the dimension correct.Applied heat shrink sleeving around the hanger.Don't tighten too much when assembling as it can pull the towers in(the parcel shelf will sit proud if too tight).Good luck.Much more fun than buying one.
