Strut Brace

Would this fit onto my 1.4 8v with no problems:

I know it says its for a gti but i cant find one for my 1.4 :s

Im only after a front one for the time being to reduce the suspension flex.

if you look under you'r bonnet, youll notice pins sticking up off the strut, you'll have to cut those off and file them flush with the top of the strut

which is what i did, then you'll have to remove the washer jet water bottle and cut its holding clamp to suit,

oh, and drill you'r struts, get under the weather proof plastic on the arch and nut and bolt the fooker

Fits fine got one on mine.

Don't think I even shaved anything off. Went straight on

Is that the gti front strut brace??

Thats the only omp strut brace i can find. You dont have any issues with the bonnet closing etc??

Still gives access to all the fluid bottles so it will be easy to refill/top-up.
