STUPID milltek backbox!!!

Im fed up my back box has cracked where the exhaust hanger meets the backbox itself for the 2nd time!ive already had one on warranty but the dealer i got the original and the replacement from has now gone out of business and closed!
What do i do?ive emailed milltek to see what they say but i dont hold much hope and i havnt got the money to buy a new one!

has this happened to anybody else or am i the only one!

ive just spent 330quid on tyres today and i cant be done with it i mite just scrap the bloody thing!

Do they not come with a warranty from Miltek themselves, not just the fitter? Not sure myself as i don't have one.

hopefully ive just droped them a line so hopefully ill hear something back trouble is i got no invoice or receipt or anything.wasnt given a new invoice with 2nd back box for sum reason

I suppose all you can do is explain the situation and see what they say, if not i'm sure it could be welded.

last 1 couldnt be welded bcos of wer the break is.i wish id never learned to bloody drive sometimes

Aren't Milltek lifetime warranty like Forge?

Yeah as above you should be able to contact any authorised dealer for it to be sorted. You should have a lifetime warranty if you're the original purchaser.

yer if you got the invoice and batch number and loads of other numbers,which unfortuneately i dont after 3years since hapened last time and 3house moves.

so looks like it 215quid plus p+p of awesome gti

Ooops, yeah you would need the original invoice or a copy of it.
If they have gone bust then yep, sounds like you'll have to splash out

company went tits up about 2weeks after i got the last back box replaced about 3years ago.

its always the same aint it spend 330quid on tyres get home 4hours later and exhausts cream crackered

Unless Miltek help you out and have a record of the purchase from the company. Probably not.
You never know they might be helpful considering this is the second time it has happend.

hopefully but i dont hold much hope.looking at 216quid for the back box of awesome-gti but i dont know if should change the full lot as i dont have much faith in milltek espeacially as im on 2nd downpipe+cat aswell after that was replaced under warranty aswell
