Stupid questin maby!! FR TDI sound ?

this might seem like a stupid question to most of u but is it possible to make a Leon FR 150 TDI sound nice with an exhaust system and induction kit ?

I am onli askin because a mate of mine had a pug 106 diesel and it had an exhaust system and induclin kit on it and it was 1 of the best sounding cars i have ever heard it had a real deep roar (nice toan and all) with it and was loud. i think it was a non tubo tho and i know tha cud make a differance.

so does n e 1 know bout the leon ???

Agian i had a 306 TD years ago with a pipercross induction kit and a powerflow exhaust and it did make a nice sound and made difference to the performace.

If i had a tdi leon i would go for it mate

Nice idea. As long as it doesnt cost an arm and a leg..Reckon just an induction kit/filter would make much difference?

If you dont want to spend much on a exhaust for example if miltek make one. Get a custom made one. Mate just bought a stainless steel one for £250

the cost will vary alot with diff makes i know tha. but does n e 1 know if the Leon FR TDI can sound nice?
has n e 1 had experience with a nice sounding TDI and how did they do it ??

On another subject, how you finding your FR..ive got the same. Platinum FRTDi, love it. Fitted Fabia rear wiper, Aero front wipers and front splitter from a Cupra R...looking good so far, and goes like stink. Embarrassed a guy in the new A5 yesterday...haha

yer i am lovin the car its grat. goes well and handles well with good fuel consumption. what more can ya ask for. probs look at a remap 1 day now and if i can make it sound nice might do tha 2

Have you read on here that if you get a remap you will need to change your clutch too.... trying hard now not to text talk !

yer i have read on hear about the clutch problem that is why i am hanging back for a while before doing it i am a bit worried about that because of all that extra cost of a clutch.
