Which way do I wind the front adjusters to LOWER the car, is it clockwise (right) or anti-clockwise (left).

I assumed it was clockwise as this move the plate up and compresses the spring?

No other way the lower you wind down the base plate the lower the car goes.Basically the bart you turn is a platform for the suspension ,so just imagine that that is what your car is riding on ,hence the further you wind it down the lower you go and the further up you wind it the higher you go.

You can actualy see the spring going up or down when you turn the adjuster so that tells you if your lowering it or making it higher.

the spring wont get more compressed.... all you are basically doing is adjusting the height of the part that the springs sit on.

Yep, spot on..
