Just out driving about, come to a corner and theres a truck half on my side! so had to dive onto the kerb! so half the front alloy in now fooked! so p*ssed off! wheels only a month old too!!
thats **** mate, had a problem like that in my old car, was over taking and the truck didnt like it so swerved out causing me to hit a curb with my brand new £1000 alloys. wasnt overly impressed with that.
sorry to hear that fella - theres a bugger of a bend near in my area and people coming around tend to come in to the other lane - leave me thinking you got the whole bloody side of the road - why come over this side -
Unlucky mate, In london just as you near the m1 i think j2 theres a roundabout by an esso garage (where ive also seen a dead body being carted away from one of the houses!) anyway its prob the only r'bout i know where the person on the roundabout has to give way to the person coming down the hill onto it and a bus wasnt looking where it was going and cut me up and I ended up curbing my alloys after having to mount the pavement at a 45 degree angle luckily not hitting the tree right next to it. Wasnt happy about that!
Had a similar thing happen to me on a short stretch of dual carriageway between roundabouts in my astra, truck just decided to pull into my lane and i had to mount the kerb (luckily an angled kerb so didn't damage the alloys) and onto grass in central reservation while braking.
Boy did the horn get some use that day.
