suitable alloys

please can anyone recommend a set of decent alloys for a leon mk1 that would compliment this fine spanish motor. I recently purchased a 2001/1.6s and feel the need to upgrade to 17" rims to give it a fuller look. Also any advice if i would have to lower it too - thanks

Wheels are a very personal thing!

Have a look around on the net then come back, post some pics and people will be more than willing to give their opinions. Its what I'm going to do.

hiya olaf - i really liked the look of the alloys that zender have on their website and think that they compliment the leon real nice - but they are out of my price league - so i was looking at some other brand with similar-ish design and obviously cheaper. thanks for the reply and in the meantime will scour the web for photos to post for opinions.

i'm going to be selling my 18's very soon. only been on the car since december.

toyo t1r tyres with tons of tread left.

I'm looking for £325 ono for them. included will be the correct spigot rings for the leon. they are also balanced for the leon too.

they cost about £750 new but i need they cash hence they are less than half price!

You could always stick with Seat, and get some Cupra 17" alloys? There'll be a fair amount going fairly cheap, I'm sure, if you keep your eyes open. I prefer a more standard look than "3rd-party" alloys, but that's just personal

actually the cupra toora type alloys was my first choice - but can't find them anywhere on the web so if anyone is selling ......
