Sun Glasses Holder

Probably been here before but i've done the search on Sun Glass, Sun Glasses, Holder etc with not much success.

I've seen some available on VAGPARTS, and the description reads:

Available in pearl grey (pictured) and light beige. Choose below. please check the distance between the two screw holes on this 1J0 sunglass holder is 14.5mm please check If this distance between the screw holes is too small, then please order the Passat sun glass holder where the distance between screw holes is 17.2mm.

So do i need to the 14.5mm or the 17.2mm???

Help required please

It opens inwards and tips your glasses onto your lap, if you don't manage to grab them, so you'd have to be monumentally stupid to drop them out of the window

Just a small warning when doing the sun glasses holder, use your exisiting hand grip screws. The ones that usually come with the holder are too long, and some folks have ended up with nipples on their A pillar by screwing through into the metal of the car body.

Just be aware of the screw length before happily powerdriving them through your car.

i had one, but never used the thing so took it off and sold it on

Spray it up black with a red bar. Matches the LCR interior perfect....

found it, there isnt a black one, thats why part numbers arent avail for it!
