just to keep the record straight. we told adam(envy cordoba) how much we wanted for car.he said he was interested but idn't give us a firm decision .we also told him that somebody else was interested but could not get down immediately.this person then paid a deposit into our paypal , but we were not aware of this at the time. .adam kept asking us if we could contact buyer and explain that somebody else wanted it more locally. he said that was fine but he would want recovery fee reimbursed which he said he had already paid . we asked adam if he was prepared to pay towards this and he agreed. we therefore refunded deposit and paid the priginal buyers recovery fee .we agreed 400 for car without
coilovers and wheels , and 100 towards the origianl buyers recovery fee. again adam agreed to this. he then sent his dad down the next day and he said we not prepared to pay any more than 400.so the deal did not go ahead.adam then contacted us to ask how much we would want for car with
coilovers left on. we told him 600 in total to inlcude the original recovery fee. he then said yes but told us he could not get all the money.
we then had another customer interested in car , but he wanted us to repair engine damage and put new mot on vehicle.we told adam about this but he still did not turn up with payment for car.
therefore we sold car to other customer , but obviously we will be repairing the damage.probably will be putting a 2.0 16 valve engine in car and remapping.may have to use a bigger supercharger.
obviously we will be selling
ibiza for more money , but we will spending a lot more time and money on car.
we were prepared to sell car back to adam but he did not raise the money. he seems to forget we are running a business.
he also says we are building the cordoba into a demo car which is not true. a customer of ours wants us to turn it into a track day car.he has purchased a vr6 turbo engine and wants us to put that in.
in reply to a couple of posts we do not claim to be seat specialists and deal mainly with bmw performance and race cars, hence why we started original posting asking for details of car.
i was not going to bother with the pettiness of replying to adams messages but do not appreciate him lying about the situation.
in fairness if he wanted the supercharged
ibiza why did he sell it to us in the first place.
hope this clears up the situation , but no doubt more slightly less than honest postings will follow .
