Which supertech valves will I need for the large port AGU head?
Do I go +1mm on both the inlet and exhaust as i'm going to get the head ported/flowed anyway before putting it on the car.

Which one of these?

Cheers in advance.

oversize on your spec is a waste of time/effort.

my stock size valves will be flowing plenty on 600bhp on largeport head (ported)

would cost to have seats re-cut.

single groove a ment for higher reving so they say iirc

cant imagine they really make much difference but may be wrong

Would it harm going larger? As they are the same price as the standard size.

If I stopped with the standard size do I require the 'single groove' valve?

Thanks guys, it's much appreciated!

having introduced supertech 1.8t valves into the uk first ;) i would say if you not yet bought them, dont bother going oversize intakes anyhow... inlets work fine. for your spec motor its plenty. if you have bought them then use them yes, and if you already have single collet type dont forget you also need their single groove keepers. single groove give tighter securing and aloow some level of lateral movement where tripple groove dont... generally single groove on race cars, revved hard etc. eg badgerwagen revs to 9k now for example
