Suspension... AGAIN :-)

Hi folks, I'm going to be fitting coilovers to my ibiza next week so I am just wondering what else I should be replacing at the same time, should I fit new top mounts, wishbone bushes etc. any help appreciated.

Hi mate it's 6 year old 40 k miles

Front top mounts, bearings and drop links.

Rear lower shock mounting bolts

i just did top mounts. but you can do all of the above.
mine had 42k on it.

Pointless doing top mounts without the bearings.
And rear shock bolts are supposed to be one use bolts

if your looking to moderate the expense, the top bearings can easily split cleaned and regreased amazing how much crap gets in there- you should already have the non voided w/b bushes and should be ok

You could always look at some lower drop links too
They are needed if you want to go low

shortened drop links depending how low you're going, iirc if you're going over 50mm you need shorter ones

It depends which suspension you buy. Certain setups are designed to use the standard drop links.
I kno my kw v3s are

And I certainly wouldn't be paying £45 for 'race' drop links pmsl
