Having the same problem..

Hi LEO LION R,

My 1.9 TDI Leon is having the same problem you had now :( did you manage to get this resolved?.. if so what was it in the end? :confused:

the rear noise as mik says is the top srut mounts theres modified ones out now. and in the last week ive looked at a couple of leon cupra rs with a creak at the front going over speed bumps they both ended up being antiroll bar bushes dry. just took them of and greased them and all was ok. hope its some help

drop link bushes were replaced and it fixed it for me, just took the dealer about 8 months to think of that option :(

Thanks Loe/ dontdoanything for the help, I'm getting the car services next Thursday and I'll be able to tell the dealer exactly how to do his job!.. well at least I'll tell what to check :D

3 ARB bushes later and they decided to try replacing the cheaper part last !

Quality, got there in the end though - so keep the faith :thumbup:
 
It's Fixed!!

Just thought I'd let you know that it was the ARB bushes causing the problem. I'm now enjoying squeak free driving!! Cheers for the pointers Leo. They checked both the drop link and ARB bushes and it turned out to be the ARB's!

So THANKS again for the help.. it was really Pi$$1ng me off!! :thumbup:

The component is very cheap so it should not cost much.. maybe £30 or 40 absolute tops (and that includes labour!)
