Has anybody gone about replacing their rear suspension top mounts.
Im going to attempt this myself but im a little daunted by the prospect.
Is it a straight forward job?
dont think its a big job mate i watched the blokies fit my suspension kit and the rear is just two bolts at the top inside the rear arch if im right. Someone please feel free to correct me just thought i would say something as knowbody else was helping!
its really easy to do. To remove damper unbolt 2 top bolts and the one lower bolt. Then just undo nut on top of damper and remove top mount. Easy as that!
i'd suggest that if youve never played with suspension before then dont do it unless you can get some help from someone with experience of doing this because if you undo the wrong top nut on the shocker shaft this will release the spring which could cause personal injury.
